On the way home today I saw a Pajero Gen 3 with front and back steel bumpers, and bumpers and all trim sparyed bright orange. I have heard about this vehicle, but today is the first time I have seen it. Does anyone know who owns it as I have the same vehicle and would like to know what mods have been made to the vehicle. The vehicle looks awsome.

Rgds

It was featured in the SA 4x4 a while back (probably about 2 years ago, time flies....)

LA Sport in CT did the vehicle to the owners specs from my memory. She looks awesome, I agree ;)

Gerald

The owner is a member of the Pajero Club (renegade). He is a self confessed technophobe but I will contact him to make available some photographs.

Simon,
Please ask Renegade to send some photos of his wheels. I have read the article on his car but would like to know more. I love it when people make, adapt, modify their own vehicles instead of buying what somebody else wants them to buy. If I may be so bold, Renegade please give us a list of your modifications so that we can compare notes. Cloyd.

I'll give Wayne a call this evening (I actually got an email from him this morning), and get him to post his story here.

That is the vehicle I saw. It would be great to get some pics and specs. I like the photo of the pajero from the front. I have been toying with the idea of taking off the front bumper and replacing with steel. I see he has not found it necessary to do. The back bumper I must do. I imagine his Pajero has gone where I only dream to take mine, so if he does not feel it necessary for the front, then I probably do not have to either. I would like to speak to him so that I can find out what he has done, what was necesarry and actually adds value and what he found to be a nice to have. I have the same model, so he will be able to give me a good idea of what works on that model.

Hello Gerald and fellow Pajero Owners

I am a 4x4 man and a Pajero loyalist, not a computer buff, so I had to ask Simon to show me the ropes as regards the site, which he did today. I am Renegade the Orange Pajero Man. Renegade comes from the offshore boat I race and won the South African Championships with . So either I am the Orange Pajero Guy or Renegade, that is your call, Hi to all.

If I am doing it correctly I will get response and will see it on the site then I will gladly give you any info and photos you would like. Always happy to help a fellow Pajero person. I have owned 7 in a row as my second vehicle and modified the last 2 into true adventure vehicles. I would be happy to share anything I have done with anybody. My name is Wayne and my cell number is 0824943782.
I am going to try and post a photo so let me know if all this works as well as my Pajero works.
Cheers

Wayne...always glad to help... especially a rather famous Pajero? Make sure you put that sticker somewhere prominent

How many Pajero owners can display this kind of scar?
