Thank you for the warm welcome guys.

Yes just a little sunday trip we took out in the bush , and a proper thunder storm trapped us in the middle of nowhere.
We sure had a adventure that day from flat tyres , batteries that died on us , wet electronics to name but a few.
All problems related to Prado drivers Pajero's took it with a smile.

Nothing builds camaraderie more than a couple of SA guys stuck in the middle of nowhere with only 4x4's to enertain themselfs.

Been trolling the forum for a while already and the amount of knowledge is impressive. Hope to get to bump into some of you as the times go by.

Those were taken just outside Lubumbashi in the Congo. Man when it rains there is rains rivers . Fun if you want to go out and play , haha not so much if its work time.

Just wanted to ask you if you had your g/box - transfer box and diffs x2 checked for any water contamination, after that deepish water obstacle??

As I was fortunate to have been warned in time, by fellow POCSA members to check mine, after a similar "wade", I found a rear diff with discolored oil = contamination.

Hi Achille

Yea thanks for the heads , luckily when that happened our cars got serviced every 2000 km's due to the heavy dust and water wading we do.
And the company paid so every oppurtunity we had to accidently go wading were used.

But one thing that got me by surprice was nobody ever picked up that the drain holes on the chassis were all blocked by grass and mud and the water never drained out , and the rust bug has started to eat my chassis.

Ended up welding extra Stainless Steel support brackets over chassis chanels for additional support ,yes they were that bad before i realized. And this made me much more aware of what is actually happening under the body .
