So after 4months and little change my Pajero has at last been settled.
So now I'm going to sit back and systematically start searching for that Gen2.5 that's waiting for me out there.

So for now I'll be signing of from the forum.
Wishing you all good, relaxing and trouble free kilos in the Mitsus, and if you guys see me in the Landy, don't be shy to wave , cause I'll be waiving at everything Pajero !!

Sad to hear. Hope to see you some time in the future when I finally venture that far out of Cape Town.

i drive past 2x SWB ('00-'04) and 1x LWB ('01) Gen3 everyday standing for sale, and i check every morning. but no Gen2.5

edit: it might be even possible if someone around here can help you find the one you looking for, you never know

Stay in touch. Keep your eye on Gumtree - there has been some nice Gen 2.5 deals lately.

Why would you want to leave? It is obvious that you are a pajero lover, ownership is not a prerequisite for membership and your experience and knowledge might just help another pajero lover

I saw a nice LWB base at a stealer on Main Road this morning, next to a Nissan Patrol I think the price was around R90000.... would have to check

Oh, and if you wave, at least we can see if your hands are still clean or if you had to fix something on your Landy

Why a 2.5 and not a GEN3.

I know of a 2001 Gen3 LWB 3.2Did(Manual)with 230 000km, full service history, including roofrack and haniball tent going for R125 000? Why not look at that?

This forum is on auto start on my googlechrome, so I'll keep an eye on it more often than not

Claudette love our 1997 Gen 2 and she loves the look of the 2.5. and the price . She's not too keen on the Gen 3 LWB though... and now with two kids the SWB are completely out.

I saw one on AutoTrader for R115000 with 114400km on, but it was gone when I phoned.

So I bought mommy this in the meentime to keep her happy and away from my defender (and when I get the Paj) it as well.
