Hi, to the forum and trying to navigate it slowly finding my way around!
Anyway.. I'm originally from Holland, been here for 9,5 years and a converted Landy enthusiast (or patient if thats more appropriate) Hope the Paj will bring me more uninterupted joy!

So many questions... hope you guys can get me started!
*The cooling pipes from the engine running to the back are very worn, cant replace them, but want to block them off (at least for now). Will that have any other effect than the heating at the back?
*What does the 'container' behind the airfilter do? (My guess is prevent water from getting to the engine?..)
*What oils do you recommend for all replacements, I want to do a complete once over (its a Landy fear ) so block, transfer box, diffs,
*And an important one.. Car is registered in Botswana and will stay like that, but driving it here and need insurance. Nobody seems to be able to help (incl cross country and tuffstuff) any suggestions?
*Had my car re-sprayed and want to re-sticker the 3000 V6 text, a. What is the correct text, and what lettertype / size to have it printed in?
*and.. so much more, but let me try and find the proper forum for that!

Best Regards,

Hey Dutchie,

Firstly, congrats on upgrading to a Pajero! (I can say that around here, no serious Landy members to give me stick)
Secondly, welcome to the forum and enjoy your time here. There are lots to learn and some good okes here.

A few tips:

*Use the search function to look for related topics. Various subjects/problems have been discussed before and it will make life easier for you and the other members. If you cant find anything, then make a post!
*The forum has different sections - you will receive quicker feedback when posting in the right section and also help others who might have the same issues as you. (I posted in the wrong section today, so we all do it from time to time  ).

Anyway, see you around.

Chio
