I have a light out on the traction Instrument panel RH wheel. (V6.3.5 1999) I am sure the globe is out and I cannot get the cover of the instrument cover off. Have taken the two screws out under the instrument hood. Are there any other screws? Can anyone help that might have already done this!
Section Question I want to fit Spots on the front Mid bumper (Metal Top) how do I get to getting my hand to under the bumper to tighten the bolts. Has anyone wired the spots to the High Beam via a rely? and how.

There are workshop manuals in the documentation section which show how to take the instrument panel apart.

You have to take the bumper off to do this. Easy job, 6 bolts, 10 minutes. Pikinin has an animation which you can modify to wire new spots into the vehicle.

Thanks but traction means drive allocated to a particular wheel, and control is interface provided to make the selection either manually or automatically. Be it known differently, thanks for the help :o

The problem normally occurs on the gearbox. The various sensors doesn't make proper contact, resulting in indicator lights on the dashboard not working. Your mechanics will still be fine (4X4 will still work etc)

Lol, a bit late, but I ran into this on my '03 not too long ago. In 2H only the left wheel was lighting up and I naturally panicked thinking i only had drive to one wheel. So I went to some sand, built revs with traction control off and let rip. Lo and behold the light for the other wheel came back on...

Probably totally unrelated... :)
