Hi
I'm looking to do some upgrades to my 2007 NS DiD SWB Pajero. The first upgrade I want to do is to install a front diff lock from ARB. I checked ARB's catalogue and it looks like the RD110 diff lock from ARB will fit my vehicle. I just need to confirm if this will work because 4x4 Mega world says there is no front diff lock for my vehicle. Is there anyone who fitted this to their vehicle?
Thanks
Look I dont know a lot, but acc to me your car has and independed suspention in front, and not a solid front axle, so its not possible to fit a front diff lock, as their is no diff to fit it to. What does (NS) mean? maybe its a model I dont know? Maybe I just made my name ass

here is a pic of the layout on a gen3/4 front diff.

It is the same aa a solid front axle but just shorter in width and the rest is made up of shafts connected via CV joints - similar concept to a front wheel drive car with half shafts and CV joints.
Yes but its not the same at all as the SFA right?
for that reason a tazz has a front diff as well, with cv's.
but can you fit a Difflock?
2. Do you perhaps have the pic of the Sports front susp as well?
and now the Q ....can I fit a difflock in front?
hahaha..told you my name is asss

Megaworld are correct - there is no ARB Front Locker for Paj Gen 3 or Gen 4 models
See here
Bostokkelos, you can definitely for a D/L to an IFS vehicle - there's an ARB one available for mine

The diff is the same concept whether it's SFA or IFS. It's just the stuff that boilts onto the side that differs.Bostokkelos wrote:Yes but its not the same at all as the SFA right?

Yes, you can get lockers for them. ARB Australia makes them so import may be expensive but it is possible.
