I have a 07 Pajero 3.2 with a exhaust type resonance coming from the front passenger side. It has 89000k's on the clock. Seems to be worst when cold.

Thanks

I suggest you have it jacked up and check for touching, exhaust leaks and check the manifolds for cracks...

Sometimes the simplest little part can resonate at specific revs - so check for loose wires and tie them down - cable ties are magic!

I suggest check the heat shields on exhaust . They fasten with clamps and nuts and sometimes comes loose and will rattle you crazy. If welded on have somone at exhaust shop take welder and spot weld them-if that is the problem.
I can also be that spring joint which joins the bottom part of exhaust with pipes going to back or if there is a box it might be baffle plates loose in the box.
Good luck

Thanks for the info. Followed your advice and found the heat shields around the cat convertor was causing the resonance at approx 2000rpm. Banged it abit and managed to reduce the resonance and vibration. Still there but not as bad. Vehicle still under warranty might consider removing the cat convertor or just remove the shields.
Thanks again :
