RedCat arrived in a Pajero!
Hiya, Gareth's the name. Just purchased my first Pajero. 2007 lwb Gen 4. 80,000km. I'm in public health working mostly in the sub-region. Looking forward to using my own car for a few adventure's around the SADC countries, possibly further afield if my wife will let me

I've driven 4 wheel drives for work over the last few years, that is until my company got tired of paying AVIS excesses. Fords are k@k and while i had my heart set on a Disco3, my dad's experiences to keep his in tip-top shape made my wallet somewhat nervous. Research lead me to the Pajero and so far i'm stoked!

From the forum i'm looking for shared lessons, and someone to guide me through the process of replacing the 'road-runner' hooter!

Cheers,
G

Hi Gareth! :D

Welcome to the Pajero Site which I am positive you will feel right at home and get/share wonderful ideas and experiences and may learn a thing or two ;)

The hooter issue was covered this week by Cats. Just do a search on active topics. Fiam and Stebel are readily available here in Cape Town but not to sure where you located and whether you have a Midas neaby

Once again welcome and enjoy your Paj!

Regards

Aslam
Re: RedCat arrived in a Pajero!
Hi Aslam,

thanks for the reply. So is etiquette to use signature, or user name? i'm guessing either...

On the hooter, i found that thread you referred me to, thank you ;) I've driven around a bit here in JHB and surrounds and these horns are more rare than an exciteable corolla driver! I've had the strengest looks. Will keep trying though. Otherwise, i'm flying to CPT for December holidays (used non-redeemable voyager miles before i bought the Paj - before yu say anything!) and so i will look around there.

Take Care!

Gareth,

Welcome to the Pajero family and this forum. You have already had a taste of the superior knowledge that floats around on this forum (on the turbo thread). Hope you have many safe and enjoyable trips in your Pajero.

Thanks Roelf,

Aslam, i found a MIDAS in Benoni that stocks a wide range of horns that, according to dude on the phone, are 'flipping loud Bru!'

Take it easy!
