I opted to change the globes immediately with H3 Osram Nightbreakers and sommer replaced the bakkie's globes as well.
All I can say -what a difference!!! I can probably see the next day coming now
I ordered these plastic see through covers for the spotlights from a spares shop in town to protect the lights for quite a stiff price in my eyes .R159 -00 ea. It is made by Hella and fits only on Hella Lights.
