Hi Johan
Sorry, can't help you with the info re Gauteng contacts. But I am also desperately in need of a set of shocks for my 2004 SWB 3.2. Have priced OME, Ironman, KYB, Monroe etc. And now come across the Gabriel Safari HDP shock - very, very new on the market. I'm no expert, so I am asking the pro's on this forum what they think about the specs as advertised (and the three year warranty, irrespective of kilos). Priced them today at a shade over R1000 each, plus VAT and fitment etc. Also, would I necessarily need to replace the standard coil springs (done 180k) in the process? Probably less than 5% non-tar road use to date.

Any comment would be highly appreciated.
