Hi , I have a 98 3,5 LWB i have had it now for a year no problem , but now i am having a problem with my rear dif lock that it disengages when it whants, normaly at the worst time. but every thing as far as machanical is working .
Is it posibal that the center dif lock sensors can disengage it ,because i have seen that if the center dif lock light go's off for a second then the rear dif lock disengages .
does enyone kow if this is posibal and what would resolve it

AFAIK diff lock only works in 4llc so if the sensors pick up anything other than 4llc (even false reading) the ecu will disengage the diff lock.

I had an Auto Electrician wire my rear diff lock direct to a seperate switch on the dash and never been so happy to have a diff lock whenever I need it, not only in centre diff lock mode.
It also has no on and off automatically at the worst of times.
