Hi Guys
First of all I would like to thank everybody involved in this forum for all the useful info that is shared, the problem I have is that my sun roof is not closing fully meaning that it is not popping up into its fully closed position I have a 2007 Paj Gen 4 I took it to the agents as it is still under motor plan, they say it has jumped of some rail and they are going to have to remove the roof lining to repair this problem,(it will take 2 days) in my knowledge when ever you remove this type of thing it never goes back properly and you end up with rattles and all types of things, what I would like to know has anybody had a similar problem and is there a easier way to fix this any advise would be appreciated

Had a similar problem with my 2005 PJ, had to get the cable kit and motor replaced.
No rattles, although if you look at the sunroof it is not aligned properly, been back 3 times and have basically given up, they cant seem to get it right.

I would agree to that. The roof lining installation take expertise to fit.I had a similar problem not a Pajero but on my Jetta and it took three new roof linings and a specialist fitter to fit as they kept on bending it and it showed those bent mark clearly.
All I can say is good luck.Ask them to send the vehicle to a specialist fitter for that. A good panelbeater which is worth his salt should install it no hassle.
