Hi, let me give the back ground details quick.
I did alot of sand driving in Moz over the weekend in 4L. Back in SA I shifted back into 2H, reversed about 20m and carried on. My fuel consumption was absolutely horrendous from there (6km/l and normally I get over 10km/l). At one stage I stopped to check if I had a leak in the fuel line because the gauge dropped faster then than the odds of Japan winning the world cup.
Is it possible that the front hubs did not release after shifting back into 2H?
When I got home I decided to try and reverse again and so for about 500m, yes 500m, and today it seems fine again??
Is there a way to check if they released?
