Hi guys

My Gen2's Auto gearbox has started to leak oil when driven. I took it to the mechanic today and he said that it is the "input shaft seal" which needs to be replaced. Now this is the thing, oil seal R85+vat from stealers nogal labour on changing seal R900 . Ok I know this is quite a job, but eish this is heartbreaking. Is this a very big operation to do

900 is a fair price as the gearbox needs to come out.

I wouldn't do it for R900.

Thanks for replying to my post, yes I have done some mech work myself on tractors and so on, so I thought this would be quite a big time consuming operation.
