3. Town & Country Of Residence: Durbanville, Cape Town
4. Home Language: Afrikaans
5. Occupation/Business: Financing
6. Family Status: Married & 3 little ‘uns. 14,13 & 5.
7. Membership Of Other 4X4 Clubs & Forums: 4x4 Community, Land Cruiser Club, Hilux Club
8. Current 4x4: 2006 Pajero Gen 3 DiD GLX LWB Afrika. This is my first Paj (just got it) and loving it thus far. It is so much more vehicle than it seems from the outside. Well built and very comfortable (especially if you’re used to a Hilux!)
9. Current Modifications: Roofrack, mags & window tinting.
10. Modifications On The Wish List: Rock sliders, Burnco bumper, hi-lift jacking points, ARB onboard compressor.
11. Vehicle(s) On The Wish List: Cruiser 76 SW. But I suspect that the Pajero might spoil me and after getting used to all the comforts of the Paj don’t know if I would be able to go back to just basics (and manual)
12. Previous 4x4s: Hilux 2.2 D/C SFA and Hilux KZ-TE (4x2).
13. Last 3 Offroad Trips: Not too many trips done. Ai-Ais, Baviaanskloof and Luderitz to Walvis Bay in two weeks time! Can’t wait! (Especially as I am going with my brother-in-law with his 105 GX Efi Cruiser. And the fuel is for his account!!)
14. Favourite Destination: Little Karoo
15. Other Hobbies: Keeping the wolves at bay.
And caravanning, but I’m a novice at that too.
16. GPSr & Map Data Used: No GPS, but I do have the T4A Namibia map which is great to browse.
17. Rate Your 4X4 & Overlanding Experience: Novice. More interested in overlanding than doing trips like Baboons Pass (or the like)
