2012 Pajero V6 DIESEL?

I think Mitsu sits with a problem.
The current "flavour of the day" is to go for smaller engines, eg VW 2.2, Jag's new 2.2 TD.
Although there might be a niche for the 3.0 V6 (which has been under development for many years), watch out for new versions of the 2.0 and 2.3 Di-D engines.
The 2.5 Di-D is doing surprisingly well for a re-furbished 'old' engine, so watch out for an even better 2.5 Di-D.
I predict that the base model Pajero will have 2.3 or 2.5 Di-D and the GLS (Exceed) will have the 3.0 V6 as an option.
(I also predict that I will be wrong!
