Nor sure if this is the right section to ask this question ....
I heared, underneath the dashboard at the passengers side is the Filter for the climate unit which requires some maintenance (blow out dust) or at some stage replacement....it's for sure my stupidness, but I can't find it.
Does anybody have a drawing where to find it ....Gen 3 SWB.
Thanks - Jörg
The filter in question in my Gen 3 is situated under the dash behind the bottom cubbyhole. It is necessary to unclip the entire bottom cubby box to get to the two screws securing the filter. The cubby unclips when you force the two dome knobs inside the cubby downward. This is the secret. If you succeed with that the rest becomes obvious.

Thanks - after removing cubby box - I found the 2 screws ....the filter was very dirty, cleaned it first w/ the vacuum cleaner from the outer side and used the pressure air from inside....half the Namibian desert was still in
....curious how it works tomorrow.
Again - thanks for the good hint.
PS: it worked well, never had so much "throughput" from the fan since having the car.....

Could you tell me whether a Gen 2 also have a filter and is it situated at the same place ? What about the rear A/C - How does that filter works ?
Thanks, Robert.
