Noises after brake accumulator recall

Since I took my Gen3 for the brake accumulator recall in 2010 I have had clicking noises when turning. I contacted MM and they sware they did nothing wrong. Did anyone have the same experience after their recall? I have since replaced wheel bearings, ball joints and tie rods, clicking still there, not constant, 1-2 clicks at a time. CV's have been re-booted and inspected as well.

The brake accumulator can 99.9% be excluded from your click noise as it is a relatively easy and straightforward replacement procedure which require minimal stripping of other components.

Where does the click come from? I once had a click at the rear right wheel on applying of power at pullaway. Turned out to be a dry spline on the sideshaft which was gone after left and right shaft was swapped.
I also recently had a very annoying click on my seat backrest everytime I pulled away or stopped. Could not find any loose bolts on the chair railing, but it drove me mad so I eventually took the whole seat out for an inspection. Turns out to be a R2 rand coin that fell in there and stood on its side in the seat rail. It moved forward when I stoped and back when I pulled off and came to a halt metal to metal at each end. At least that was one of the few fixxes that actually paid!

The click or rather clunck is coming from the front suspension. My first thought was cv joint, but they were removed, inspected and re-greased. Mostly when I reverse and turn sharp I get 1 or 2 clunks. Very annoying and embarassing. I had the vehicle at the testing station, they put it on their machine and could not find the problem either.

check the stabiliser links - they are known to go after a few years as they take a lot of stress from the vehicle weight and the thick anti-roll bar.

I have taken the whole stabilizer bar and links off, drove the vehicle, and it still made the same noises, so we can rule the links out.

Does it only happen with the steering at full lock and then reversing over pavement ramp or similar? If so it might be dry turn/bump stop. Had that on a previous Colt.

Just guessing here.

The Gen3 does not have a steering stop. It happens on full lock as well as not full lock. Mainly when reversing, but also going forward. Can it be something more serious like front diff? Vehicle only done 144000km.

What shocks are you running? My experience with IM was that they were very noisy and had cluncks noises.
Have you replaced the shocks at any stage?
