Why Cant I.... ?

...send PM's to another user?
...post in the For Sale Section?
...and other stuff.
The reason is simple. New members are part of the "Newly Registered Users" group, until they have 3 posts to their name, and have less permissions than normal members.
The restrictions are twofold.
a) to protect existing members from spam PM's originating from new users. While one may wish to send legitimate PM's this method is the easiest for me to manage in terms of spam.
b) to prevent people from simply joining to offload their stuff and we never see them again. We have other avenues for this.
However, if you CAN'T do something and feel this is wrong or should change, you know who to call
