I saw a guy asking a simple question on another well known 4x4 forum. The replies started coming in and pretty soon it went south with one member attacking another. It has not gone all the way, but the vibe is there.
I have not noticed any of that here - no snapping at each other, no belittling members, no bullsh@t. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks to all the members for keeping it a lekker plek to be and learn.
Mac. It's called mutual respect. We have it here. Many forums don't.

I agree!!
Mitsu owners have always been classified as the friendly people on most forums and I believe that we are a fortunate bunch to have ALL the friendly and helpfull members on here.
Like my 7 year old would say - COOL!

Your right. We are very lucky to have the level of respect and willingness to assist on our forum. I have a range of interests and do not find this cooperation on other forums. The discussion here are always friendly and cordial. Another reason to own a Pajero I guess.

brand bashing is the main culprit. Even if it breaks every second day you defend(er) it to death.
But, it is a strange phenomenon where on multi brand forums the mitsu guys tend to be the friendly ones.
with the exception of the 4e's by some's opinions.

The forum is really a good place to learn as well as give something back as well of course, a bit like the movie "Pay it forward" I would say, the layout is easy, and especially the view active topics which I use mostly, it is also a little addictive in a way too I guess, check it a few times a day when time permits....
No rubbish, no arguments, no Ego's either and of course we all Drive or want to drive the Pajero
Simon, you have done an awesome job with the Forum THANKS!!!!!

Its almost as if Pajero guys feels they have nothing to prove...if someone say how good their Fortuners or Landy's are around the camp fire, what does the Pajero guy's say?.... "Nothing I just smiled"...
This is a good place to be, we are here to learn, share and enjoy the same fun in life. After a while on this forum one learn, that the day you decided to buy a Pajero, you probably didn't realize immediately that it was one of the best decisions you ever made, and as time goes by the smile becomes bigger. Hoe beskryf mens n Pajero? We'll ek is maar n wiskunde ou, en dink die antwoord is: dis n som totaal van goeie parte en uitstekende ingeneurswese....punt!

One point to remember is that this forum caters for Pajeros (and other Mitsu products) only (although I slip in a VW post every now and then
).
Forums which cover all brands tend to degenerate very quickly into brand bashing.
Another point is that the "Around the pub-counter" type of discussion on this forum is kept to the minimum (I believe groups like Facebook are bettet for this than forums in any case!).
Here we get our hands dirty and talk around the engine bay!
