I want to swap my 2001 model, 5 door Pajero 3.2DID for a 3 door DID. My vehicle is in a beautiful condition. Mechanically everything is 100%. Plenty of extras fitted. ARB bumper, TJM suspension, smash and grab, etc, etc...
My son is leaving the house, and I don't need all the space anymore.
Oubaas,
When my youngest left home I sold a 2006 DiD LWB GLS and bought the 3.6V6 SWB. I did it to counter the empty nest syndrome, you see the performance and reminded me of my maverick Golf GTi days.
I urge you to give this swap some SERIOUS consideration first.
If my best buddy in our little dorp can get his late model Mercedes platkar sold, then he will buy my SWB and I'll def be in the market for a late model LWB again or even a new Sport.
Good luck

Thanks for the input Roelf. I had a SWB before, and sold it to buy the LWB. Mostly for the luxury of the rear doors, but now you are reminding me again that I always had to tow my Venter. Most of the times we did not have enough luggage to fill up the Venter, but we had too much to fit in the SWB.
I will give it some serious thought...

Oubaas,
We cope fine with the space, but the "embarrassment" of pushing passengers through the little hole gets to me a bit. We removed the rear seats for our Richtersveld camping holiday and then I left them in the storeroom for many months. That was the best period for a two door. My car didn't have rear seats and I couldn't load any rear passengers. "Sorry, I drive a two seater
"
You can buy mine if you want
