Introducing myself

3. Town & Country Of Residence: Benoni
4. Home Language: Afrikaans/ english
5. Occupation/Business: Electrician. I do maintanance at a company that deals in second hand earth moving equipment and spares.
6. Family Status: Married
7. Membership Of Other 4X4 Clubs & Forums: SA 4x4 Community Forum
8. Current 4x4: Pajero 3.2 DiD GLS lwb. Which belongs to the company. 410 000 km, 2004 model.
9. Current Modifications: Slighty raised rear suspension. 100mm. Thats not much. Does it count?
I would like to think that one could take a pajero off the floor and be able to do some serious 4x4ing.
A divider in the back to make two levels. Tools/equipment at the bottom and material/spares on top.
10. Modifications On The Wish List: Better clearance all around, for the wicked 4x4 sections. Mettrax runners, alluminium roof rack, a tow bar with better exit clearance.(hopefully the 100mm will help). Winch. Hi lift jack points.
11. Vehicle(s) On The Wish List: My own Pajero. Generation 2. Well maintained and I'll also care for it. Reason-less electronics. Never driven one, so can't say if my observation is founded.
12. Previous 4x4s: first time in the 4x4 class.
13. Last 3 Offroad Trips: Kosi Bay April 2010, West coast-Kleinzee & Port Nolleth December 2009, Swakopmund April 2009. DUNES DUNES DUNES!!!
14. Favourite Destination: Swakop. no Namaqualand. no Swakop, or Namaqualand. or Swakop.
15. Other Hobbies: mmm. no hobbies really. I do enjoy camping.
16. GPSr & Map Data Used: Cell phone gps (NOT internet assisted!) or local maps. Got myself a Tracks4africa map of Namibia for December.
17. Rate Your 4X4 & Overlanding Experience: not sure how to rate.
