Wheel Bearings

Morning Gentleman
Need your expertise again.
I have started to hear a whining noise on one of my front wheel bearings. I am sure it is a wheel bearing as when driving and changing direction slowly the noise disappears.
My question is replace, repack or just tighten?
I know it is a very vague question and I suppose each problem must be dealt with on its own merit.
But with your experience what is the norm?
Thanks,
Heine

Hi Heine

When you get a whining noise, it is time to replace. At this stage (whining) it means damage has already occurred, rather don't take chances. If you have plain wheel bearing and not a complete hub assembly, it is a really easy and quick job.
