Ambient temperature sensor

I noticed this morning that the outside temp indicated in the RV meter was stuck on 19 degrees (we should be so lucky!)and no matter what I did, switching the car on and off and disconnect the battery, it stays there.

Any ideas? Where is the sensor situated? Can it be replaced or fixed?

My Gen1's sensor is placed inside the front bumper.
I think Gen2's as well.

Knowing Mitsu, look there for the Gen3's :)

Hallo Gert,

I find that when I wash my Paj the temp displays 19 degrees for some time although it is much warmer outside.
This always go away after a couple of hours and the normal outside temp is displayed again.

Tolla

This is exactly what happened....I washed my car.

I suppose one should be careful of a clean car :D

Happens to mine every time it is washed. Return to normal within a hour.

My ambient temperature has been displaying 3 dots only now for some time.

Anybody know where to look for the sensor (more specifically :) ) and how to test it?

Thanks

Johan
