Hi guys

I am a new member on the forum.
Hope someone can help me.
I've got a 97 swb 3000 pajero, the problem is that in 4h there is no pull almost as if the clutch slips but in 4hlc and 4l it is fine. new clutch new pressure plate new flywheel and the transfer has been reconned. The guys at the gearbox place said one of the front side shafts was broken so they took the diff out-nothing wrong with anything. now they say electic problems

Any thoughts?

Thanx Henk

Hi Marius,thanx for reply!

I checked the actuator when in neutral, looks like it pulls in when I engage 4wd-but if I look at the picture u sent it should move away from the diff not into the diff? Is that right?

When I put it in 4H it starts to move if I let go of the clutch but as soon as I give it some gas it starts to slip??

Thanx 4ePikanini
The problem was with the actuator,I found that the 2 vacuum pipes was switched around thats why the diff didnt engage.Still have to check why it doesnt want to disengage the diff if i put the pipes the right way though

My 4x4 is working as it should!!!! :D
Found some of the switches on the transfercase wasnt connected
and some of the wires were broken, thats why they switched the vacuum to work the actuator.
Thanx for directing me in the right direction!!!
