Rear Airbag suspension - best place to buy?

Hi All,

I have decided with the following with my suspension and need to wrap up the rear air bags.

Front will be 32mm spacers which should give +-58mm lift, but with the new bull bar up front it did drop 15mm, so effective lift will only be 43mm up front, on the rear I am still looking for a cheaper option that with Uys but looking for +-40mm lift there too, and have got some Iron Man and OME shocks from CATS (Thanks a mil CATS), and then to wrap up with the air bags for when the trailer is hooked up and also to counter the flashing of nights when driving at night by oncoming cars (pet hate of mine  ).

Where are good places to buy the products and for fitment (bearing in mind it will be spacers, shocks and airbags going in at once to simplify the process).

Also I have seen these guys which import, but cannot find the Pajero listed, has anybody used them?

And the supplier (only Montero sport listed though) - http://shop.airliftcompany.com/dyn_search_vehicle?k=0

And of course the Firestone air bag helpers:

Cheers

Autoquip in Centurion supplied and fitted my suspension airbag some moons ago, so they might be a good place to start.

I would use AirSpring Company in Jetpark. They are the suppliers to most places.

See my thread here... https://www.pajeroclub.co.za/forum/view ... bag#p20730

Am sitting at Annies Cottage in Springbok on the way to the Richtersveld and am now contemplating air helpers. It's the first time we've been 4-up in the Paj and so heavily laden and with the HDP's. Poor Pumbaa is wallowing somewhat

maybe slightly off topic, but do the installation of air helpers complicate the fitting of spacers?

Whats the best order around - first spacer, then air helpers?

Dont think there is any hassle between the two. I have airbags already in and ordered spacers, so will let you know if I encounter hassles but I doubt it.

The ideal would be to do both at the same as you only need to remove the coils once.

General Warning:

Just about all the bakkies and SUVs with broken chassis rails I've noticed on the web had air helpers fitted.

The fitment of air helpers make it possible to grossly overload the vehicle, without the visual warning of the sagging of the suspension.

When air helpers are pumped hard, they have very little resilience and transfer massive impact loads to the chassis / body.

It is like driving with the suspension on the bump stops!

This can potentially over-stress the chassis and cause failure.
(This is particularly applicable to vehicles with leaf springs, but also true for suspension with coils).

Fit them but keep the maximum load within manufacturer specs!
