Gen 3 Tie rod bellows: OEM or aftermarket?

Hi All,

Relaxing under my paj in my favourite Saturday repose I noticed that the left hand tie rod bellows is damaged and there is a trace of fluid at the crack in the bellows, but not enough to form a drip.

I am not noticeably using power steering fluid and the feel of the steering is OK so I am not planning to refurb the rack right now. (I am on 224k km)

For the bellows replacement:
1. OEM or aftermarket?
2. If aftermarket any suggested make/model?
3. Is there a split type that can eliminate the need for tie-rod end removal?
4. Is there an agent for rakboot in RSA? (http://www.productsthatwork.com.au/prod ... t-info.php)
5. Does anyone have experience with rakboot?

Hi Andrew

Did you come right in the end? What did you end up going with? I need to replace mine and pondering what the best option is.
