Would anybody care to try?

Cats,
'Course I'll lead the way and give running commentary on the geology
E-L to Barberton is not far for a semi retired engineer

I was thinking in the Spring, when the veld turns a touch green and the veldblomme start to bloom.
Spring sounds great to me. I have two radios so can give one to you Roelf, for that commentary on the geology. Would be fascinating!
Just remember I drive a diesel and have three youngsters on board so we stop frequently and for no apparent reason, so if you can live with that we would love to keep you to it and join in!

Cats,
This is absolutely a stop and experience type of trip. It is totally in the outback - nothing(man made) and nobody to be seen for most of the day.
