Brake balance front to rear

I have some questions regarding back to front brake balance on my Gen 3 DiD. Does it in fact have such a feature?
On the older cars the load on the rear axle was determined from a measurement of the body height above the axle. The higher the body above the axle the less braking force was applied to prevent rear wheel lock-up. This body height increase typically happens during hard braking and height decreases when the vehicle gets loaded or a caravan is hitched.
The Gen. 3 does not seem to have that mechanical measuring link between the body and the rear wheels. So how does it determine the load on the rear wheels to balance the brake force optimally?
If it does some how measure the load by means of body height and body sagging what happens when we do a suspension upgrade using longer coils?
Finally is it possible that it only relies upon the ABS to stop the real wheels from lockup when the vehicle is light and empty in the back?
Please let me have your views on this.

Bigwill,

There is no mechanical linkage to control front/rear brake distribution. I suspect that in the brake master cylinder there will be a slight narrowing of the bore to give a bit more brake power to the front wheels.

Afaik it's purely mechanical with the abs controlling lock up.
