Can somebody maybe tell me what's this two plugs just above my 2000 Blister 3.5 petrol pedal?

It looks like a connector for a engine diagnostics computer, I know the Gen 3 is MUT, not OBD style diagnostics. Not sure of the Gen 2.5 or why there are two sockets.

jip. 16 pin diagnostic port. The other looks like an aftermarket immobiliser port of some sort.
The red is the (not so aftermarket) immobiliser port. I believe those were fitted by Ford when they distributed the Gen 2.
