Hi guys,
What grease must I use to grease the ball joints.

1999, 2.8tdi Pajero

I used AGIP GR SM CV Joint Grease.
It is Litium Based not Graphite.
A mechanic told me not to use Graphite on ball joints.

It says on the Container: For automotivesuch as steering, chassis fittings, grease cups, water pump bearings, universal joints.

I also heard the graphite story and went for lithium based grease. Apparently you can use normal multi-purpose grease.

I bought grease that can operate at a higher temp, can also be used in bearings as you say. If it doesn't work I'll post it!
