Good day all

We have a member on his way to cape town and he would like some advice on who to call to find out what he must do. He said he it sounds as if there is a propblem with the univerals on his propshaft he has a Gen 2 with the did conversion.

If any one can give me a number he can phone that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the Cape Town franchises, but had I been in your situation, I would have looked for a reputable propshaft shop.

Look in the telephone pages for something like "Mr Propshaft", "The Propshaft Shop" etc. These guys carry spares and should be able to sort you out in a jiffy (if they are open :( ).

PS to replace U-joints on a propshaft is not rocket science, and provided you have the basic tools, it is an easy DIY.

Hi everyone just some feedback. Coldnt fined any spares in CT on my trip but Eddy and team at Propshaft centre in Claremont sorted me out on the 24th of Dec with some very good 2nd hand universals on my rear propshaft. They took me to Oysterbay and then Baviaanskloof and back to home yesterday and is still working fine! Thanks Eddy! Greetings, Alwyn.
