Hello forum, I own a 3 gen pajero and I am haveing a problem with the electric system, let me try to explain; today I had something very strange, I tryed to start the pajero but I could not. The problem is that the electic system fails, I mean, there is no light any where, also not into the pajero when the doors open, also when I try to start the ignition, IT tryes but the motor never starts. it looks like some kind of relay is not activating to power on the electrical system. I am sorry if I am not so clear, but it will be appreciated if someone could give me an advise about this problem.

Maybe check the battery first? If no lights are coming in anywhere, that's where I would start.

Sounds like a loose battery or battery cable connection. Unbolt the main battery cables (start at the negative pole) and trace the cables down to where they bolt onto the engine and chassis. Remove those bolts and clean the lugs. Replace everything and it would not hurt if you apply some coppaslip to each terminal.

Loose or "dry" connections are usually the cause of these symptoms. Don't assume because the cable is tight it is making a proper connection.
