Gen 2.5 Rocksliders

So Simon spotted this over at the Community and asked me to repost here. I needed a bumper and rocksliders for my 2.5, so Johan Otto helped and this is what transpired.
Measure.. (we used 50mm flatbar 6mm thick for the brackets)
Tack the angle iron (6mm thick, 50 x 50mm).. Completely over engineered.
For the actual slider we used 25 x 75mm rectangular tubing.
Then, to make sure the body stays away from the rocks etc, 63mm pipe attached..
Once we got it the way we wanted, mr Otto dragged it to his garage and welded everything proper with the mig..
Finished... bought plastic ends for the pipes and rectangular bar, painted it all with Hammerite, and then added some stepping plate alu to finish it off.
(and yes I'll post about that sexy bumper)..
