1995 pajero v6 manual, the car have a big noise like "knak knak" when under strain in 4x4 . check cv , it is right. Can somebody pls help me

Like Cats said or perhaps a slipping chain in transfer.
Try this. Select 4H only not with center locked. pull up handbrake hard and pull away hardish (on gravel or sand). If the sound is worse the chain is slipping. Replace chain. Do this test at most two times. Not good for Pajero but a sure way to find out. Explanation is in 4H the center differential is open and not locked and the power is not transferred equal to front and back. With the handbrake on hard more power should go to front via the chain and from this the deduction if it's the chain or not.
