Hi All.
Im sure at one stage or another you have seen a towtruck with street tyres and rims that stick out of the fenders a moersa lot........
Now,,,Im wanting this look for my 94 LWB pajero.
The rims are obviously very wide and with a very low offset.
The tyres seem most of the time to be hercules.
Does any1 know what the side wall profile of the tyre must be if i want to do this?Im asuming the wheels are iether 15 or 16".
Any idea of a wheel with the same specs?
the std wheel and tyre on the car is 265x70x15..
The new wheel and tyre specs will end up smaller overall.....
Will this mess up my gearbox/diff/transfer boix, etc??
Ive tries google searching for pics, but there arnt any.Do any of you have pics to show me of this done before?
Hi Hondathan
Welcome to the forum, congratulation on you choice of Vehicle I hope she treats you well.
With regard to this post and your other post, to be perfectly honest I think you are looking in the wrong place, here we are more into lifting suspension, putting bigger tyres and rims on and better air filtration for the engine, which is the complete oppsite of what you are looking for. I think you might have more luck in the "speed and sound" type forums.
If you want advice on dual battery systems for 12 volt fridge's, rooftop tents, aftermarked steel bull-bars, engine issues and Mud Terrain tyre choice you are at the right place
.
Good luck none the less.

Lots of people like the "redneck" look, and if you do, then that's great! Life's too short not to indulge your preferences....... so get hold of Doc from Gani's in Witbank - I'm sure he has done loads of wide wheels, and will be able to give good advice and great prices. Good luck
