Rim repairs In Cape Town
Can anyone recommend a decent rim repairer in the Northern Suburbs?

I dented a rim when a tyre blew in the Tankwa. Some years ago I lost a tyre on my Audi and had the rim repaired at Wheel Service Centre in Bellville. The rim was as new when I collected it. So I took my Pajero rim there on Wednesday. They promised it for Thursday but I could only get there on Friday.

When I got there, the rim still had to have the tyre fitted and balanced. It was filthy. When balancing the tyre, I noticed it was not running true. So off the tyre came and they took it to the back. Before fitting the tyre, they now checked it. Again it was not true, so back it went. It now looked straight, but the rim was filthy and the paint badly scraped on the inside where they worked on it. As I was now very late, it had them fit the tyre and balance the wheel. Oh, I also had them wash the wheel beforehand.

Now my next problem, when fitting wheel to the rear door, the fitter broke the lock bolt by tightening too much. They tried to hammer the stud out using a screw driver and then tried to cut a slot potentially damaging the wheel holder. At that stage I stopped them, went across the road to Motor Masters where a mechanic used the proper tools to drill and remove the stud. They promise that hey have ordered a new locking bolt from the agents. Will wait and see.

I cannot trust the quality of their work and want the rim checked and refinished elsewhere. Any suggestions?
