Guys let me start by apologizing for asking a question that might have been asked before a million times before!!

Did any of these come with a difflock, my 4 wd gear lever shows 2h, 4h, 4HLC, N and 4LLC, but I cant manage to shift beyond Neutral to 4LLC, is that just decoration on the gear lever or am I doing something wrong??

I had same problem. Turned out I just had to push down on the 4wd stich to go into low range.

And make sure the car is stopped. Best to put the gearbox in neutral as well.

Johan and Roelf thanx for the responce I feel like such a I drove that car at the Bass lake course on Sunday and it performed beyond my expectations with NO Lowrange

Gents I just tried your suggestion no luck, had the 4wd lever in h2 straight up engaged h4 furthets point on hat straight line I assume is 4HLc when I push lever from the to the left is Neutral, I cant find 4LLC and I tried pressing down the 4wd lever which goes straight up from N to a dead end!!

Best is to meet up with a fellow pajero owner and compare.

A selector fork might be stuck or damaged.

found my Low range but the 4WD gear lever keeps jumping out.

We can't be too far away from each other, let me know if you need to compare mine against yours.

Alternatively, I can give you the name of an Indy in Brackenhurst who has had 3 Pajero's and can probably tell you what's up
