Manual Gearbox 4wd gear Lever jumps out

Hi All Finally found my 4LLC however my 4wd drive gear lever keeps jumping out (maybe an allergic reaction) could this just be the Links or must the whole Gearbox come out, any of you guys had a similar problem??
