Steering moves to the right when 4H engaged

I have a Pajero swb 1999 and when I engaged it in 4H the steering moves sometimes to the right on its own. I didn't take it offroad yet but today when engaging in 4H mode the right front wheel light on the Dashboard just flickered and then didn't display.
