Hi Guys
I have a 2001 Pajero 3.2 Did SWB and approximately 3 months ago it started to shudder badly when i apply brakes at slow or high speeds, It was recommended that i have the discs skimmed as well as fitting new original pads which i did. It still shudders when i brake, could it not possibly be the trailing arm and or lower control arm or stabilizer bar rubber bushes, any suggestions
kind regards

Hi Calvin. Don't discount the brake discs just yet. Skimming brakes really never works as a permanent solution. The process can bring the disc back to true geometry, but can't ever remove the hard spots that resulted from the shuddering or lead to the shuddering in the first place. Skimmed discs very often shudder again in as little as 5000 km...

I had same issues, finally sorted by replacing all the calipers and slider pin rubbers.
Cause was sticking rusty pistons. Also use silicone or rubber grease on the pins.
