Pajero Rally 2014 - Change of Date - 16-18 May

Hi all

There has been a change of date for the Pajero Rally, as the venue felt it was too close to the Land Rover Rally. The change of date is out of my control, as it is not organised by me

There is a facebook page for the event (https://www.facebook.com/#!/pajerorally) although we'd prefer our members to chat about it on this thread.

They are going to try to organize a 4x4 track for the Saturday and spitbraai for the Saturday evening. Otherwise just a get-together weekend with camping and lots of fun.

Please send a mail to info@kambati.co.za for bookings. Rate for camping is R110/adults and R55 for kids 4-18/night exc VAT. Please state on your email whether you are a forum member as well.

Can you please also post on this thread, whether you are attending, numbers, and whether your booking have been made.

Apologies again for the change in dates.

If you really are his "best man", then you will tie him up and drag him to the Pajero rally... he will thank you later!

I'll be traveling south along the West Coast during that weekend - so I'll honestly be thinking of you guys and I hope you have a great weekend. Close, yet so far.

That means I can start thinking of a Tie in the Dots weekend mid Spring again.

I'm concerned that there has been a serious lack of interest. Is there any reason for this? Surely I can't be the only one likely to attend. A couple of Mitsubishi dealers are getting involved and it would be sad that THE Pajero club will be very thinly represented

Rally up your troops in the cape!! 8-)

It might be because its after a period of many public holidays. I know lots of people are taking time off in Apr up to 7 May, due to the many public holidays.

I'm also away in April, and then a Kgalagadi trip in August. So no more leave, and its too far to drive through for a weekend.

Hi Simon

I'll be there.

Haven't made the booking yet, still waiting on couple of people to confirm whether they will tag along.
