Help, radio connector plug needed
1.jpg
I have a 2006 Paj LWB with the standard fitment radio/tape. I have done the change of removing the 6 disc shuttle and relocating the a/c controls. I have bought a Sony double din to instal but now Im stuck.
I am trying to source the female plug as per the back of the standard radio so that I can make up an adaptor harness from the existing plug to the Sony unit.

If anybody can point me in the right direct to somebody that sells either just the female connector or a complete adaptor harness, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Pic is of the male connector that I want to connect to.

I'm also looking for this plug/harness, so any help would be double appreciated!

Re: Help, radio connector plug needed
Carstens, I went to a couple of places yesterday and it seems that because it's an oldish vehicle and because it's a Mitsu brand radio, the plug is somewhat scarce.
I will let you know if I have any joy.

Ok thanks. Will let you know as well.

I got a loom for my Opel Astra turbo coupe a few years ago from a guy named Julian at Tremor Audio, not sure if they still exist though.

Hi Carstens

I have just spoken to Julian at Tremor Audio. He says they have a harness with the Mitsu plug on one end and an ISO on the other.

Im not worried about the other end as I will graft on the Sony plug that came with the unit

He is puting it in the post today. Once I receive it and confirm its correct, I will update this post.

Not sure what you are looking for but I have a gen3 radio in a box if you need it.

Thanks Marius
No, Im changing radio to a Sony Double Din. Im looking for a 'female' plug that fits onto the existing one , see my photo in first post.
There is one in the post at the moment so hopefully Im sorted.

I want to make a mini adapter harness from existing plug to new Sony plug so that if I ever want to go back to the original radio, its just a case of unplug harness and plug in old radio.

Finally I have it. Julian at Tremor Audio is the man. The reason it took so long is due to the Postal service. The white plug fits the existing Mitsu one on the main harness, i justy have to change the other end but at least i dont have to butcher the main loom. I know what I will be busy with this weekend :D

Carsten, I think the part number is PC2-46-4
