Has anybody mounted their jack on the spare wheel mount ?

I am thinking of moving my roof rack to my trailer but want to keep the jack on the Pajero and the spare wheel seems like a good place. Doesn't look like it will be too difficult to make - Anyone have any comments - suggestions ?

very nice design.
I have a similar (but ugly) unit for mounting a RFDS antenna.
I use my racks for carry long lengths of timber etc.
My next bracket design will be something similar to yours, but allow the fitting of an optional post to help support long loads.
