Has anybody bought or know where to find a trim piece to finish off the dash after a Double Din radio has been fitted to a Gen 3 Pajero?

I have the same issue as you. Stopped past a few fitment centres around Joburg and received nothing but blank stares!

I finished my installation yesterday. Mine is a Sony unit and the platic trim came in the box with the unit. It needs to be trimmed on the outer edges to fit the hole in the dash.
Its a very flimsy thin plastic, nothing fancy.
I would buy an A4 sheet of black plastic and cut your own, maybe a bit of double sided tape to keep it in place.
I cant make out what make your is but the layout of the buttons seem very much like the Sony's
