Radio Display ??

Good day everyone
Its been a wile! I've a 2002 Gen 3 SWB, my Battery died and when I replaced it, the Radio display says "CAR TYPE"
I can still play the radio, just have no display!!does anyone know what this is or how do I reset it???

RTFM you lazy Irishman!!
It wants to know diesel and swb etc. Not 100% sure but I remember seeing something like that in the manual somewhere.
I will dig it up if you really don't come right.

Is it a Mitsubishi OEM radio or a replacement?

Cats ive been through the manual cant find anything?
Andrew its an OEM radio!
Do I need to go to the stealers??

Will have a look at my manual tonight but I am pretty sure I saw it in there on mine once. It is something to do with the fuel consumption readout, which on the first ones did not work on the diesels and only the petrol versions IIRC.

Don't panic, ive found it! its one of the buttons next to where you reset the clock
all is back to normal, thanks for your help Cats and Andrew.
