Hi Guys,
I searched the forum with only one result regarding HID?/Xenon Headlights for Pajero.Has anyone replaced their headlights successfully. Reason why I am reluctant to order online is that if the set is not made for the Pajero it might happen that the deflection and reflection of the light-beam is not right and that the beam cannot be adjusted correctly.
Autostyle says that Pajero takes a H4 set?...any inputs will be appreciated.
Thanks Andre.

It does take H4 on the Gen3 Pajero. Not sure 9f the gen4.

I had HID in my gen3 for a while but it kept on blowing ballasts so I took it out. I suggest you buy the best known brand name available. The rest are all the same amd 3 different fong kong units on mine just did not last. Not sure if it might be due to other reasons on my particular car but my experience was not positive.

Thanks Cats,
I did find two products on the Autostyle web site, one for +/-R600 and the other +/-R1300,(Phillips).It shall be wise to wait for some more feedback from our other PJ owners, before i go out and spend "wasted" money.

I have a Philips kit in my 2006 DiD.
I paid R1000 for it and it took me about 20 minutes to install.
The white light works way better than the stock candle lights, especially on gravel roads.

I installed a Chinese kit and it worked fine with adjusted beam, but it was only available in 4300K. Later I bought 2 5000K bulbs from eBay and installed them for a while, but could never get the beam adjusted to the road. After my first long night trip I returned the original 4300K bulbs again.
So it mainly depends on the bulbs, although when putting both side by side I can not see any difference in dimensions or burner location. Seems that the arc shape itself differs. :?
