Sushibar
My new baby
Good evening fellow Privileged Pajero owners!

Being new to the site I would firstly like to commend admin for a well run forum and secondly introduce my new Paj. She is a 2014 exceed that I got from Bedfordview, she has now got 10 000 odd kms on her. The extras are roof rack, BFG A/T tyres, Melville & Moon seat covers, tow bar and tinted windows. I will be sending her in on Wednesday for the chip, look forward to that! I am going to be using her for daily commute and to haul my Ski Boat to Mozz.
I have been very fortunate to have had a few of these in my career, I had my first in 2002 and the last besides this one in 2010. Since then I moved over to Jeep and let me say that the Jeep Grand Cherokee 3l CRD is one hell of a car but for just under R890k it has become very expensive. The second issue is if you want to cross border it is a little tricky with fuel quality and thirdly you can't deflate the tyres enough for towing 2 ton on the beach, and fourthly the sand pilling up on the floor from getting in and out makes you cringe. It just isn't built to do what we can do with our vehicles. So I decided to return to the trusted Pajero, I love the fact and I say fact that you can get in, go anywhere and feel comfortable that it will get you home. I LOVE MY Pajero!!!!

Re: My new baby
Sushibar, I think "welcome back" says it all. In the past, when replacing cars, I'd place the shortlist in front of the missus for her input. She has made it easy for me - she couldn't care about fuel type or suspension design or gear ratios. She simply brushes the other makes off the table, because of the uncompromising reliability we have had over the last 20 years and seven Pajeros.
