Hi all

My CD player aint working in my Paj. It was replaced under warranty but shortly after that, again, stopped working and Mitsu refused to replace it again. I just left it.

There are some after market units available, even come with maps and USB slot.

I believe that JVC (between R3999 to R7999) and Alpine (R3500) have units available even with the right trim pieces. There are also Chinese suppliers (these include the SA maps from garmin?) for around R2000..... (last I looked anyways.)

Anyone done one of these conversions, or have an idea why the CD player keeps swallowing CD's?

Mine only takes one,,,, and once she's in, its in. Doesnt even play a CD

Where did you buy the unit and did it come with the surrounds/plastic bits needed to finish off?

Haven't bought it yet, but it would come with the radio

I quite like that look. Does it navigate and show movies as well? Driving a Pajero can really get boring.

The piece of Casca gemors finally stopped working completely - that is after some very expensive repairs.
