- Facelift
Just got her back from getting a front bumper and winch fitted. After months of searching for a reasonably priced bullbar and one made for Sport, we did not hesitate to fit this one from Bosbumper. Last thing to do is the EFS, and then thats it!

Envious my side. I want want want...
Did you just do the bumper winch upgrade? or was there a sump guard included?
Talk to me about the lights in the bumper...
What winch did you have installed?

Looks awesome,
Also have a sport and am considering also installing one. Do you mind sharing with us the costs, did this include the front bash plate? Also, did they have to cut off any original bodywork?

Mike and NJ, more than willing to share the pricing... The winch is a Powermax 12000lbs which is imported, but has a 2 or 3 year warranty on it through the local guys who are Summit 4x4. Check their website for more technical specs. Bosbumper fitted it for me and charged R1200 for the fitment into their Ratel Bullbar. The Bumper was custom made/fitted as they had only done one for the newer model which has the headlight washers, so with mine, I could place it a bit higher as the older model does not have that gadget. The bumper cost R8500, E-Rust coating was R350, Fitment was R1200, winch bracket was R950 and the 4 LED's were R1300. So total for the Bumper was R12300, then add the price of the winch at R6800. They did have to cut the front bumper to fit the new one.
The LED's are two spot and 2 broader spots, but look at the photos on the website for a better view
www.bosbumper.co.za. I think they are around 38w...they are frikken bright!
The bash plate is 4mm Electroplated and Galvanised which I got through Stoffpad. Bosbumper did offer a bash plate in the deal, but I already fitted the one in the pic as well as rock sliders (Price- Bashplate was R2800 and rocksliders were R6900) and I fitted them myself.
Hope this helps, and am very happy with all the stuff I have done to her, but I know I will never get back what I have laid out in cash, however we plan to keep her until she eventually dies!
